Cal Poly University - California's Best Universities

By Alex Anderson

California Polytechnic State University located in San Luis Obispo is an excellent location to study at. Almost all Californians chose to go here owing to its awesome atmosphere and high standard learning amenities. Encompassed by valleys, ocean, and state-of-the-art buildings within the campus grounds, it definitely a remarkable depiction of where technology suits Mother Nature.

The excellent sense of community of the university is seemingly reminiscent of the small-town vibe of the town where it is situated at. California Polytechnic State University, or more often called Poly Tech, lounges itself on over 2,000 acres of area space. In order to tour the entire university, I suggest you not to walk. It is one of the largest locations to house a university in California and to complement that, is one the ideal and high-ranking instructional curriculum there is.

They've got countless of programs available across many fields of study such as History, Business, Science and Arts. Among them, Architecture and Agriculture is their specialty. Referred as the 'Best in the West', you're able to utilize their intensive training curricula that pushes you in employing your skills as well as talents in various elements of your program. You have to be prepared, though. After you get into this university, you are will get to soak up a good deal of information in addition to executing a lot of activities outside of the classroom walls. If you want to embark further by doing additional coursework, there is a quite a few services for that. You might get paid as well.

Most of the students there are from California. They all have this casual style of fashion, with tshirt and jeans as their unofficial uniform. For someone who came there who is not from the state of California, however, it did not affect my social life at all. They are friendly and helpful to anyone and everyone. Their Greek Life is very prominent around campus and if you are looking to be gain new friends and having a more diverse experience, I suggest you join a sorority or fraternity. You get to attend a lot of frat parties all year round.

Beyond the Poly Tech university grounds, there is so much stuff you go to. You could go to Farmer's market, eat downtown, go hiking at sunrise, or meet a lot of famous singers at their concerts. For me personally, I love that I can just go to the beach and get me a tan and catch the live bands at night.

Doubtlessly, it is really a more than suitable place to prepare yourself for the real life. You must bring everything you've got in this university, whether it be within the classroom or perhaps your social life. There's just so much scope in this institution that you would certainly hate to ever leave behind. I know I didn't.
