The Very Worst Foods Ever!

By Vanessa Summer

There are so many foods available that, while delicious, are incredibly bad for you. Some of these food items are immediately familiar: fast food, to use one example, is quite tasty but loaded with calories and other things that will damage our bodies in major ways. But what about all of those foods that, on the surface, look like wise choices? What about the foodstuff that you order for your kids? In this article we will look at some of the very worst things you could ever feed yourself or your family members.

Macaroni and cheese, surprisingly, is just about the worst things that you can order. The sort you make at home on your own using the boxes of Kraft or Annie's should be mostly okay but most of the time the macaroni and cheese you order from restaurants is not. To work with one important example: the macaroni and cheese supper for kids from the California Pizza Kitchen is incredibly unhealthy. Just one particular arrangement of this food retains virtually forty grams of saturated fat, over sixteen hundred milligrams of sodium and more than one thousand calories. No component to that is actually healthful.

How many times do you get those frozen pot pies from the grocery store's freezer section? These look like quasi-healthy eleventh hour foods but the truth is that they are loaded with unnecessary calories. The pot pies coming from Stouffer's, for instance, usually contain more than eleven hundred calories, more than sixty grams of fat and almost eighteen hundred milligrams of sodium. If you are attempting to lose fat you could end up eating all of your daily calories with just this one food item!

Most folks believe that a vegetarian sandwich is most likely the healthiest thing they can order through a fast food franchise. The real truth of the matter is that, since you probably will putting dressings and other condiments in this sandwich as well, they are usually just as unhealthy as a sandwich packed with meat. When you order a vegetarian sandwich from Blimpies (as an example), you're ordering nearly twelve hundred calories, sixty grams of fat and more than thirty five hundred milligrams of sodium. How will that ever possibly be regarded as healthy?

Surely a salad, of all things, has to be healthful. That's precisely what most of us think. When we want some thing fast and healthy we usually turn toward a salad to fill us up with food that is good for us. Would you be astonished to find, then, that there are some salads available that are almost bad for you? There are eighteen hundred calories within the Santa Fe chopped salad offered by TGI Fridays. This is most likely due to the fact that this distinct salad is the size of a big dinner plate, but think about it seriously: if you're on a diet do you want almost all of your daily calorie allotment to come from a single salad?

Sadly, the fact remains that the foods we acquire from restaurants or when we are in a hurry is just not going to be as healthful as the food that we cook for ourselves at home. We realize that you may not be in love with the notion of preparing food for yourself but the truth is that, particularly when you're trying to lose weight and improve your health, this is the best thing that you can do for yourself.
